Bot flag.

he bot is already active in at least for wikis, i.e. fa, en, fr and de. It has also many contr. in wiki wal. So, what's the problem? you also refereed me to the page of Bot policy, did you mean anything special about a global flag request? There I do see a short paragraph relevant to the topic, which does not bring me new info. I would appreciate any further explanation from you, cheers. Adler.fa 09:33, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

Az.wiki issues

Hello. I have left this message on several other talk-pages as I am trying to draw attention of the community to a problem with which I was forced to come here. I filled out a report about abusive behavior of an administrator in az.wiki here but so far no respond I've received. In addition to all listed abusive behaviors there, now the administrator in question is trying to adopt a new rule in rush (to justify her actions) which is supposed equivalent of No personal attacks. That is not exact or even closer translation of the one in en.wiki. It is modified in a way to allow administrators to take any action on their will. I am hopping you will have time to look into the issue and end this bureaucracy in az.wiki. In that project an online version of dictatorship is being established and if no action is taken, the results will be catastrophic for az.wiki. What is the quorum for recognition as representative user participation & what is the measure of "consensus"? In the Sinhala Wikipedia, "Village Pump" a forum is on and only 4 users commented so far! By the time we gather so called "consensus", the Sinhala Wikipedia will be Mummified and history, my dear. I think the rules, regulations and customs are made by us to be used and NOT TO BE ENSLAVED to them. Thanks for the effort. Need your help

Unbearable situation in WikiFarsi. After being blocked for two weeks, now I am blocked for one month. The reason for my block by Admin Mani is unencyclopeadic writing. I wrote an article about crowing of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, for better understanding Mohammad Reza Pahlavi became Shah in 1941, the crowning took place in 1967. To describe why such a long time between becoming Shah and official crowning, I wrote a paragraph about the historical events during WWII in Iran. The decision of Mohammad Reza Shah to postpone the crowning was based on the fact that Iran had been occupied by British and Russian troops. After the occupation ended, Mohammad Reza Shah told that he will crown when Iran is secure and developed. Admin Mani deleted this paragraph explaining the history without discussion. I asked in discussion page if I can add the paragraph deleted. Another user commented that I can add the text. I added the history and wrote in discussion page that please write any comment you have about the text in discussion we will find a agreement. A few minutes later , Admin Mani blocked my first for two weeks then for one month. Following is the link to the disputed page:

I know that the Wiki projects are administered by local community, but in Wikipedia Farsi rules only the atmosphere of censorship, threat and blockage. There is group of people who try to prevent that Wikipedia Farsi receives articles from a broad range of authors reflecting different points of view. Obviously, all authors who tried to write about the Pahlavi era, have been blocked and eliminated. As far as I know, I am the only one in Wikipedia Farsi who writes about Pahlavi era. As the policy of Admins show, they want to eliminate me completely. During the time I had been blocked they started to dismantle the articles of Farah Pahlavi, by blanking. Photoes that were related to paragraphs had been thrown in a gallery at the end of the article. The relation between the text and photo no longer exist. Parts of the text have been either deleted or copied to other articles. As I mentioned to them that this is against the rules and regulations of Wikipedia, they told me that the text in Wikipedia belongs to everybody and they can do whatever they want with it , and then they blocked me. Under this sad circumstance, I severely appeal to you that the authors of Wikipedia Farsi be brought under an international oversight and protection. At least, one international Steward should be as ombudsman accessible for us, to intervene specially in the cases of total blockage.

It is not only about me, another user named Behtis who always tried to mediate and find a solution is being blocked for six months without any explanation. The blockage is not only to block writing of articles but own homepage and discussion page, then one can not communicate with others or ask for help and support.

Please do not ignore this message, please help us. Please do not pass me to Adler, he was the one who started this blanking and copying where else and he was the one who caused three times my blockage.--Bellavista1957 15:39, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

I have to mention that I wrote to the Board of Admins and complained about Mani's behaviour and my unjust block. Instead that another Admin takes care of the matter, Mani, the complainee has written that he has investigated the matter and everything is OK, no other Admin is needed. Mani is prosecutor, Judge and executor in one person. He tries that other Admin not look into the case. Second Chance

I was blocked on Wikipedia for disruptive editing. I feel that the block was harsh and I also feel that I've been treated very harshly. I am a very sensitive person btw. I was trying to get a vandal blocked and in turn got blocked myself. I am new and I don't know how to properly warn avndals so I did my own stuff. I let my emotions get the best of me. My block appeal was declined also. Jyothis, I am a user who is new and has potential. I am very very much wanting a second chance. I want to learn and I want to contribute. Sorry I don't have to time to check the cross wiki record for a particular user; I only check his/her local (Cantonese wiki) record. The question remains that the user who may have crosss-wiki abuse yet remain largely valid contributor in the local wiki - should you ban him/her from that local wiki as well? My view is that as long as the user is not abuser in the local wiki, he or she should not be banned from that wiki. --WikiCantona 02:53, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
