Thank you very much for taking part in Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month 2024. We are always welcoming new participants in our annual campaign on writing about Ukrainian culture and people as it helps to constantly broaden the horizons of our contest. Did you know that this year we have recorded contributions in a record-breaking 66 language editions? It was certainly not possible without you!

We accept contribution in all language editions of Wikipedia! As always, the campaign is dedicated to famous Ukrainian artists of cinema, music, literature, architecture, design, and cultural phenomena of Ukraine that are now part of world heritage.

Have you ever explored a museum not in person, but as your digital avatar? To attend the session please register here: Event:CEEM 2025-How to deliver a good lightning talk. The session will be held on Tuesday, September 16 at 16:00 UTC (check your local time here). If you have slides already ready -- you would be able to get a second opinion from the programme committee. If you do not have slides yet -- please come prepared with an outline of what you plan to (not) include in your lightning talk. This is not a mandatory session, but we would like to see you there!

last Tuesday we held an orientation session on lightning talks for the Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2025 and I think I missed you - sorry not to have been able to say hi on that occasion. Good news is - for your reference, the recording of the presentation part may be found here.

We’re excited to invite you to an inspiring global virtual gathering: the first Capacity Exchange Translat-a-thon.
Together with Language Diversity Hub, the Capacity Exchange (CapX) team will host its first Translation Marathon dedicated to ensuring linguistic equity in access to this amazing tool aimed to connect Wikimedians.
If you enjoy contributing to Wikimedia projects through translating and adapting content into different languages, this event is for you! Join us in the celebration of the multilingual spirit of the Wikimedia Movement at an event where communities that contribute in diverse languages will be able to share local knowledge and collaborate across borders.
