Hi, the page has automatic archiving set up, it is set up at the moment to 120 days or so. You can change that if you don't want to bother with manual archiving too much. --MF-W 22:13, 9 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Yep, I understood it, but some later. :] I hope it wasn't a big trouble, surely they have read the responses. --Midnight Gambler (talk) 16:54, 10 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
I think it's no problem, the sections hopefully were there for long enough & there is always a link to the archive. But I just thought if you generally think entries stay on the page for too long, the archiving time could be changed. --MF-W 18:17, 10 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
What about 60 days?.. --Midnight Gambler (talk) 18:31, 10 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
I think that's ok. --MF-W 18:35, 10 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

'everybody understands English'

[edit]

Apparently, not everybody does — that user is en-0. Czech, Polish and Russian are weird when mixed together (I prefer a West Slavic Czech-Polish mix, honestly); however it seems that it's impossible to communicate with such a user in alternative way. I think we must respect the needs of en-0 users, that's why Slavic-N stewards are needed ;) Tar Lócesilion|queta! 19:16, 10 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I was probably not very friendly to him, moreover my knowledge of English looks probably the same way. I actually meant that English is more comfortable in discussions than any other languages.
Well, now you convinced me to vote for you: really, we should have more Slavic guys among stewards. That's amazing idea, huh. :) --Midnight Gambler (talk) 19:57, 10 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Updates from Capacity Exchange (CapX)!

[edit]

Hello Midnight Gambler,

My name is Joris Darlington Quarshie, and I am an Outreach Facilitator for the Capacity Exchange (CapX) — a platform for finding and connecting with peers to exchange knowledge and skills on a global level.

CapX is a community-built tool, designed by and for the Wikimedia Movement, to make it easier for Wikimedians across the world to find and connect, collaborate, and exchange skills and knowledge with peers.

If you don't know it yet, I invite you to access capx.toolforge.org and create your user profile with your Wikimedia account. But, if you already have a profile, I invite you to check out the new features and possibilities we just launched. I am sure you will be delighted.

CapX's new version incorporates valuable community feedback gathered over the past months, including the Organization Profile - a feature for Wikimedia affiliates, initiatives, or community groups to create their own CapX presence (see here how to create yours).

Click to log in using your Wikimedia unified account through authentication:
