Could you please explain your opposition for belarusian proposal? Thank you -- 82.209.209.162 23:30, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"The reason is that there should be one Belorussian wikipedia, not two languages that are today's language and 1959 revision, so there should be one Belorussian wikipedia and that is today's langugage."

Of course, there should be. But since "classical" belarusians "restored original belarusian language" (as they say), there are two standarts, and i won't surely be wrong if i say there are 2 languages at the moment, from what one (codified and normalised in 1957-59) is called belarusian, and the second (pack of its rules is published in 2005) pretends to be called "belarusian". Second one is not recongised by National Academy of Science (institution, that regulates rules of the language), and is.. the language be.wikipedia is written in. There is no support for official belarusian language in be.wikipedia - only a formal right to right in it. When admins translate wiki's interface they DO NOT MAKE TRANSLATION TO ACADEMIC OFFICIAL language, and explain that as they "fight for the right language". There was a definite try by one user to make converter, but he gave up in october since the differents between normalised language (which is btw, called, "narkamauka" in be.wikipedia - in the manner that insults speakers of this language), so since the differences between languages are too big to be simply converted. I think the situation is now clear for you, and you will reconsider your voice, or, at least, remove it. Thank you -- 82.209.209.162 00:46, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your point and I applaud you for it, but it will not chnage my mind about opposing Belorussian, so sorry about it but I made the decision and I will abide by it. Rakuten06 23:58, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You made your decision, when you weren't fully told about the theme. Now you know about the situation much, so why didn't you change a POV, if "I understand your point" as you've said? This is not a principal question, and it's typical for humans to make mistakes. Standing firmly on this position you just make harm to me, Yury Tarasievich, Alexander Gouk, Ivan Sidorsky, Mienski and other contributors to the test. We ask every single man that can help to help and voice, spending approx. day by day on it. If you just remove your voice (as, for example, has done the sysop of be.wikipedia Eugene Zelenko) you'll just make our lives easier a bit. So think please on what i've said to you here. -- 82.209.209.253 00:27, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Montenegrin[edit]

I apologize. Your vote was among the many sockpuppet votes, and I accidentally deleted it. Sorry again. --Paunović 23:06, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I didn't understand the question. Could you possibly rephrase it for me? :) --Paunović 23:10, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There is no Montenegrin Wikipedia. Montenegrin is the ijekavian dialect of the Serbian language. If you want to help out with the Serbian Wikipedia (which also accepts the ijekavian dialect), go to sr.wikipedia.org :) --Paunović 23:17, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know, you figure it out. --Paunović 23:21, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Join me to help expand the Montenegrin test wikipedia. Let's prove these Serbs were wrong. --Crna Gora 21:11, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Second Montenegrin Wikipedia proposal[edit]

I have started up a second proposal on the Montenegrin Wikipedia, I think it should be time to restart it. If you want to vote, the link is: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Montenegrin_2

Just wanted to let you know. Thanks again. CG (Crna Gora) 06:43, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
