Hi, SM06349. Regarding your rename request, I've spoken with a few other global renamers, and the rough consensus seems to be that you should be made aware that your requested username could get you blocked on the Arabic Wikipedia and possibly some other wikis, but that your request should not be declined on that basis. - Being blocked means not being able to see Wikipedia articles in that language right? If that's all it is then yes I'd like my previously requested name. I think I'd actually be a bit proud of that in a weird way SubMaster06349 (talk) 04:16, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- No, you'd still be able to read articles there. There's just a chance that you would be blocked from editing that one wiki. But okay.
