VGMA Hack Night
VGMA Hack Night is a night that seeks to bring together members of OFWA's community to have an edit-a-thon, where they can contribute to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Background
Over the years contributions around award schemes in Ghana has been under-represented on wikipedia. With the VGMA as our focus, we embark on this project with hopes of birthing an annual contributions program for Award schemes in Ghana.
The lineup of activities for the VGMA Hack Night include:
- Page Creation for the 2021 VGMA Awards.
- Listing Artiste Categories of Artist.
- Linking Artistes to their respective wiki pages.
- Update on Artistes' wiki pages.
- Creation of Wikidata Items.
Event Date
The event would be organized on the 26th of June, 2021 at the OFWA office in Labone.
