What to Do if a dog Bites you
[edit]Dog bites are quite painful and hard to bear, it is an unpredictable situation which is likely to happen at anytime of your life. It may go from a street hound pouncing on you to your own pet attacking you with signs of aggression. However, it is not okay to keep a dog bite the way it is. Many possibilities of diseases remain vigilant.
Things to do
[edit]- Hold on a cloth on your wound to prevent excessive bleeding, bleeding out is not healthy for your body
- Wash the wound with running water and soap. You must keep the wound fresh and health. A bacterial infection can lead to serious deformities.
- Slowly push small amounts of blood out of the wound to get rid of infectious bacteria in it.
- Rush to the nearest doctor, it is important to get medical advice during such situations
- Wrap the wound with a clean bandage so that it wouldn't be vulnerable to bacteria. keep it on until you meet a doctor.
- Apply an antibiotic cream

What to do if symptoms are shown
[edit]- Get to the nearest doctor and get a dose of vaccination immediately. Afterwards, return back in three days and get the rest under doctoral supervision. If the bite has dug into your skin and you haven't had a tetanus shot in five years, it is important to take a tetanus shot as well.
