| Abstract:
Five influential African Wikimedian women leaders will come together to explore strategies and share experiences in bridging the gender gap within Wikimedia events. Despite notable progress, gender disparities persist, particularly in women's representation and participation. This session will highlight successful initiatives, address ongoing challenges, and inspire future actions to foster a more inclusive and diverse Wikimedia movement. Attendees will gain valuable insights and practical approaches to promote gender equality in their own communities. |
