- Abstract (up to 300 words to describe your proposal)
- Sharing the experiences, challenges and successes of the process of helping fostering a Wikimedia Community from zero in a country which is just now getting connected to the world by the Internet. Wikidata is being extensively used to structure not only the country information but the project itself, including it's use with platforms like WikiShootMe for local Wikimedia activities, also with the objective of developing the first Wikitown in África, the former capital city of Bolama, now one of the main centers of Education of the country. We have a GLAM project in Guinea-Bissau with a partner association which is currently establishing in the country. This lecture can eventually develop into a panel with other cases of community entrepreneurship.
