  • Budget
    • Need protection on tech editor budget and WorkMarket
    • Next insurance payment is January
  • Next grant cycle is due in March
  • Foundation staff would like to have monthly meeting before March
    • Would like to see metrics, publication and editor goals
  • Thomas and Andrew have compiled various Wikidata and citation metrics, to be used for the grant funding (Stats)
  • Make it clear how many Wikiversity and Wikipedia articles are created, and Commons images are uploaded
  • Web of Science Application for WJM
    • Help with metrics
    • Draft space on Meta - Ellen and Andrew have a look to see what else needs to be added
    • When to send in an application? - ASAP or after batch of new articles
  • Review of all outstanding editorial board applications
    • There are some medicine outstanding
    • Can everyone look at all of the outstanding applications for all journals and comment on them please?
  • Ellen to remind editors about inactivity policy
  • May need to shift the review coordination system towards reassigning peer review coordination role to tech editor and have the process overseen by an editorial board member
  • Peter inquired the process for withdrawn paper. Thomas said the decision can be marked on the Preprint article and Wikidata entry
  • Need to have a plan in place if no Peer review coordinators volunteer to prevent papers from stalling - need to get moving more smoothly - use tech editors (generate lists of potential peer reviewers)

  • Debrief of Wikimedia Colombia Open Access Week & Canadian Science Policy Centre conference events
    • Turnout was smaller than expected but overall it was very good engagement
    • Potential new associate editor
    • Now have a spoken version of our presentation on YouTube in Spanish - help engagement in Spanish countries
  • Need more people to have a look at editorial applications
  • WikiJournal of PPB? Check with Eric on the launch status
  • Emma inquired about WorkMarket payroll processing
  • New Grant Application edit on google drive until new page can be put up
  • Follow-up on all humanities articles to know status
