WikiLinguila/Talking: 2024 - francophone discussion

An online meeting was held on February 5, 2024 between different communities leaders in DRC, to explore any possibility of collaboration for the mother-tongue contribution month and other subjects.

During this conversation, speakers discussed the need to develop Wikimedia projects in diversity and the importance of creating an event during the month of February in native language. The need to recognize the importance of effective modern communication via the Wikimedia Foundation and to encourage contributors to maintain this commitment in order to foster a sense of ownership among contributors as well as the challenges related to strengthening the community for managing a diverse movement of contributors and the need cited for a balanced approach to ensure everyone's voice is heard.

Communicate with other communities to avoid any confusion and improve the representation or representativeness of the world's diverse cultures via a proposed partnership with Unesco for better participation by multiple speakers.
