WikiProject ESD/Overview
This project is a bit novel in the ambition to cover a broad topic on a range of Wikimedia projects. In Wikipedia the most important articles in the topic will be improved. In Wikibooks, OER's, how-to's and guides will be created. In Wikiversity there will be courses and other resources for teachers and educators. Wikimedia Commons will support all these with relevant media. Wikidata will tie all the articles together, and also make relevant information machine readable.

We welcome all similar/related projects to join this effort, whether or not you are a Wikimedia project from the start. Everybody that wants to share free knowledge on ESD are encouraged to think on how participation could be fruitful. There are already projects with considerable overlap, e.g. WikiProject Medicine who is doing great work on many Wikipedia language versions and have given the topic area Health promotion a good start and Akvopedia that has great resources for the topic area Water.
