Comment It is already done inside Wikipedia and the advantage of that is that it also helps check if the relevant Wikipedia articles are in fact answering queries. I think unifying these fora is more important that starting sister projects. In fact reference desk should be more like a virtual librarian in that we should be able to examine reliable sources afresh and examine the Wikipedia articles in the light of queries.
