Wiki Loves Africa is an annual contest where anyone across Africa can contribute media related to that year's theme to Wikimedia Commons for use on Wikipedia and other WIkimedia projects. Wiki Loves Africa encourages participants to contribute media (photographs, video and audio) that illustrate the specific theme for that year. Each year the theme changes. Each year's theme is chosen by the community to be a universal, visually-rich and culturally-specific topics (for example, Fashion,food, Habitat, festivals, public art, cuisine, natural history, urbanity, daily life, notable persons, etc).. Everybody can participate.

This year, The Wikimedia Anambra Network joins Nigeria to participate again, and you are encouraged to submit any photos about Rain, Environment and Weather in Anambra State Nigeria, between 15th March and 30 April 2023. By submitting your photos to the competition, you share the climate beauty of Anambra with the rest of the world to enjoy through the internet.

Objectives

The aim of this project is to help Wikipedia and document climate and weather images.

Whatever part of South East you find yourself in, simply find rain, environment and weather features, take a photo and upload it to Wikimedia Commons.

1 Sign in or Create a New Account on Wikipedia, if you don't have any.

2 Enroll on the Wiki Loves Africa in Anambra State Dashboard to track your Upload.
