Scheduled for the 2nd day of March 2024, the event will be conducted virtually through the Zoom platform. Led by seasoned coordinators and developers from the WLF 2024 team, this session offers valuable insights into refining jury mechanisms for photography and writing contests.

Programing

Isaac Chabota Kanguya, the Communication officer, will then provide a brief 10-minute introduction, setting the context for the discussions and highlighting the significance of optimizing jury procedures in fostering inclusive and equitable participation within Wiki Loves Folklore initiatives.

Suyash, the esteemed Jury Coordinator for Wiki Loves Folklore 2024, will kick off the session with a 20-minute exploration on "How to Establish an Effective Jury for Wiki Loves Folklore Photography Contest." Drawing from his extensive experience, Suyash will delve into strategies for assembling a competent and fair panel to evaluate submissions, ensuring the integrity and quality of the competition.

Following Suyash's presentation, Nokib Sarkar, the Lead Tool Developer for WLF 2024, will take the virtual stage to elucidate on "Jury Processes for Feminism and Folklore Writing Contest in Campwiz Tool." In his 20-minute segment, Nokib will showcase the functionalities of Campwiz Tool and its role in facilitating the jury process for specific contest themes, emphasizing efficiency and user-friendliness.

Concluding the formal presentations, the floor will open for a 10-minute question and discussion segment, allowing participants to engage with the speakers, share insights, and seek clarification on pertinent topics.
