Wiki Workshop and Heritage Mapping, Chamba-2017 is being organised by Wikimedians of North India in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh,the area rich in cultural as well as natural heritage.The Participants will be Wikipedians,photographers and eminent art and cultural activists.Major objective of this event is to bring the ameteure photographers and art/cultural personalities from State of Punjab,Himachal ,Delhi and Chandigarh (U.T) etc.on the Wikipedia as new editors who will be imparted basic training of uploading photographs on Commons and create/edit articles in future.In a way it will be a two way experience/skill sharing event.The photographer participants would also provide practical training in photography skills to the other participants.Two participants will be from the local area who are eminent art and cultural activists who will help in identifying and understanding the rich heritage of the area.

15th April 9:00 - 16:00 Photo-tour/visit Chaurasee temple complex Bharmaur ( 6th and 7th century temples , known for its wood / stone and metal craft world wide ) and Visit to Brahmaani temple
