The activity/project[edit]
Tell us about your proposed project. What will you get achieved with this time?
Describe why you think this project is important, and how the project is different from your normal volunteer contributions.
The project is all about documenting the History, Rulers, notable peoples, heritages, culture, rituals, animals and birds of Mithila region. This is the reason, we decided to showcase the project name as Mithila Manthan which means "Churining of the Mithila region".
With the help of this project, we team members will work on the Wikidata items related to the above subjects. We will add the Maithili name at the Wikidata item page and other useful information which will help to create the article later by contributors on Wikipedia in future days. We will import the wikidata work at Maithili Wikipedia using Listeriabot and create the list of articles manually by checking all information. We will add the sources and links of books, research papers, and other various documents at the list page on Wikipedia so one can work with the articles later.
We are aiming to add information to 500 to 800 wikidata items related to History, Rulers, notable peoples, heritages, culture, rituals, animals and birds of Mithila region.

Describe how you (and, if applicable, your team)are able to achieve this project. What skills, expertise, and motivation do you have which will enable you to succeed?
I have been a Wikipedia contributor since 2015 and have been involved in various Wikimedia projects which enhance my knowledge as well as skill to complete the project. I am an executive member of Maithili Wikimedians User Group and online activist to support the Maithili, Mithila and its scope. The team members are experienced Wikipedia contributors so I am quite hopeful that we will complete the project at a given time frame.
