Eloquence - interested in the software side of things, also in preventing too much censorship of legitimate information (I prefer labeling potentially problematic information to removing it, so parents and educators can choose what they want to use)
KeyStroke - intrested in computing, software, physics, astrophysics, aerospace, statistics, logic, and religion
de:Benutzer:TomK32 - I'm doing the weekly German WikiReader Digest (only as PDF, for adults as say) but I'm interesting in doing the PDF for the Wikijunior too.
R3m0t Sounds like great fun. Spelling, grammar, design nitpicking. Possibly writing some content. R3m0t 00:14, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Pedant16:56, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC) Anything. Would be quite happy to rewrite any suitable articles for younger readers. I work with some home-school groups doing similar tasks. I would be interested in working with User:Eloquence on 'censorship' issues, so that my wish for 'wholesomeness' and his wish to avoid censorship may somewhat temper each other. Project is very worthy, in fact I had until recently thought it was "my own idea", very glad to see it is being discussed and to see such enthusiasm from what I consider to be 'core editors'. Pedant 16:56, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Larsie sounds like an extremely good idea to me. i've always been an advocate for 'fun learning', for example i created the Wikifun and Mind Benders project pages in wikipedia. as well as the Department of Fun. so i beleive i would have a lot to contribute.
Isomorphic I like trying to explain "neat" things from math/science in simple terms, so if anyone's doing anything along those lines, let me know on my en: talk page.
184.108.40.206 16:54, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC) If I know anything about the subjects that will be used, I'll be happy to pitch in.
user:pilaf I have a nice set of pictures of Bolivia and Argentina to share, will take more if I can get my hands on a digital camera. I'm also interested in making translations to Spanish.
Rhymeless 07:19, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC) I'd be interested in helping any way possible.. I'm probably younger than most of the people working on this project, so wouldn't mind being used as a test subject. I should be contacted, if possible, on my .en talk page, but email is okay too.
Muriel @ pt I can do the translations to Portuguese which can be used in Brasil (South America, 200 million people!)
The bellman 09:48, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC) (moved from supporting)

GerardM 11:51, 27 Dec 2004 (UTC) People from nl:wikmedia are in discussion with Kennisnet, an organisation that does a similar thing to Wikijunior for primary/secondary schools and vocational training if wikimedia and Kennisnet, if we can cooperate. As it is really early days, this is just to indicate intrest and direction of effort.
Khaosworks 15:40, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC) Absolutely interested, especially the History portions. This is a marvelous project and I'd be glad to help in any way I can.
Greaser 05:00, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC) - Happy to help as possible, where possible if possible. It would be an honour to help; albeit, I would only be able to help in articles.
Input junkie 15:33, 26 Jan 2005 (UTC)I can translate into Swedish and I'm willing to help in any other way possible.
Joe Llywelyn Griffith Blakesleytalkcontrib 14:08, 2005 Feb 12 (UTC) Will help in anyway possible (as long as it doesn't involve a lot of my time). No special skills particularly (except general techie); quite new to Wikimedia projects.
I would LOVE to help with this project--just ask me and I'll do whatever. Have experience as a copy editor. Vorpalbla 2/18/05
--SabineCretella 08:22, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC) for translations into German/Italian depending on what is needed most.
Wikijunior would be a great idea. I know a lot of children who want their own wiki, and I would head through the Celtic languages first after the English version - the Celtic languages are those originating closest to the birthplace of the English language. Scott Gall 08:34, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Jason@NASA 21:36, 13 May 2005 (UTC) I work with NASA in the Office of Education. While I would not be able to promise formal support, I am sure that I could share the efforts going on here with people who could advise and/or edit content on science and technology. Since I am a newbie myself, I could use some advice on soliciting assistance from individuals who may not be web saavy.
--FooBar 16:22, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)I could do some ICT stuff, especially Mac OS X software.
I'd love to help, especially with making the language kid-friendly. And i'm just leaving that age range too, so all the better! Oh, and i know loads of almost completely pointless facts on all range of topics, so i'll be able to help out a little bit everywhere! --Quadraxis 03:35, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)
I'd like to help too, with a little bit of everything, like Quadraxis :) --Shanel 04:53, 6 Jul 2005 (UTC)
I can help translating the text to spanish, and spell checking. I also could draw some pictures. DrJones 20:38, 10 July 2005 (UTC)
Since I've been adding content anyway to Wikijunior, I might as well throw my name here --Roberth 18:14, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
I wouldn't mind helping out here. Seems like a brilliant idea. Thorpe 15:27, 21 July 2005 (UTC)
I would love to help. I am a preschool teacher. -- Rachel 05:06, 14 August 2005 (UTC)
Society and Culture; is what I thought its absence is conspicous. I do not have a clear idea of how I will exactly contribute under that, but I'll figure it out. --Downtownee 14:05, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
Happy to help in any way. I work at a UK printers, and know some prepress. Also my other half is a primary teacher so she'd be able to get feedback from kids. Please contact on en, I rarely see meta. PubLife 09:15, 15 September 2005 (UTC)
Generally whipping things into shape. --SV Resolution(Talk) 18:07, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
Would be extremely interested in working on Wikijunior - see userbox on My page wishing that there was a Family version of the site! Looking forward to seeing this become a reality. Tmalmjursson 19:20, 14 January 2006 (UTC) Give me your 2 cents
Experienced teacher, ages 7-16. Best skill, math curriculum material. Itching to help get some online material up. How do we stop talking about it and get stuff moving? --Barry Desborough 10:29, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
