Abstract

[edit]

Free access to reliable, quality and credible information is a fundamental human right, and information in any form (text, audio or visual) should be accurate, reliable, and credible.

Photos on articles attract attraction and express the information in ways the text cannot. This impacts the reliability and credibility of the article.

Millions of articles have been created by thousands of volunteers across the globe without photos illustrating them. This is a huge gap that the Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos (WPWP) project aimed at addressing using a campaign approach.
