Summary

Wikimedia Estonia has organized two seminars (in 2014 and 2015) for Wikipedians writing in Finno-Ugric languages. Hungarian, Finnish and Estonian Wikipedias are the biggest Finno-Ugric Wikipedias, but many smaller Finno-Ugric peoples are living mainly in Russia and Scandinavia. Most of them have Wikipedias in their own languages, but these are quite small and lacking active contributors. How to make Wikipedia popular and support writing of Wikipedia in minority languages has been the issue for these seminars and will be discussed in my presentation.
