Summary[edit]
During the presentation, we will explain in details how Wikimedia Armenia organizes WikiCamps. We will start from the beginning of the preparations (i.e. finding the venue, preparing on-wiki activity, technical and accommodation issues etc.) to the after-camp assessments. The presentation will include:
- Choosing best Wikipedia Education program participants, call for participation and registration form
- Camp leader, group leaders and WikiCamp groups
- The venue, arrangement of campers in the venue and workshop rooms
- Insurance, security, medical care of campers
- Schedule of wikicamp
- Out of wiki activity: Sport and intellectual games
- On wiki activity: Choosing daily themes, how participants edit on Wikipedia, Wiktionary and Wikisource
- WikiTeam, checking and assessing campers' activity
- Establishing WikiClubs on the basis of WikiCamp success
- and more
