| Abstract:
This is a call for a workshop discussion on what we can do better to align our values and practices from Wikis into practice of Wikimedia event organizing (in-post-pandemic) and how we can support better people who are less mobile, less addressed and less likely to join Wikimedia events. I bring experience of over 23 years of working in media culture, most often as event organizer of both content and practicalities. Recently I did first LGBT+ bilingual, hybrid and trans-local event QW2023 and I have fresh observations in what is still to be done to make this work not just informative but inspirational. |
