Wiki-Smart Qaybıç is a pilot Wiki-Smart Municipality instance, implemented in Russia's most widely spoken indigenous regional language Wikipedia edition, dedicated to describing realities in eponimous rural municipal district of Tatarstan. The purpose of the project is to make local phenomena of cultural, social and economic life to be at least as well covered on respective language Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects was New York is on the English Web, Beijing on the Chinese or Moscow - on the Russian one. The rural project was formulated in April 2021, shortly after the formation of Qaybıç Wiki-Сlub, itself born during pandemic around Tatarstan-supported Wiki-Contests in Tatar (1 & 2).

Participants will discover the Do-It-Yourself project they can copy and adapt presented by an active local Wikimedian with less than a year since her registration.
