A 9-day online activity for any Wikimedian to create articles in their respective language Wikipedias in order to add information about the host city for Wikimedia events.

WikiSungkai (Q132737772)

A Wikimedia workshop with local organizations that want to learn how to edit or contribute to Wikimedia projects, such as Wikipedia and Wiktionary. The workshop will end with a fast-breaking session (iftar) together with the participants.

Wikipedia Exchange Activity

a Wikipedia content exchange activity with other Wikimedia affiliates that aims to translate articles into collaborator's language about Malaysia, and articles about collaborator's country into languages inherent in Malaysia (currently Malay, Central Dusun, Iban and West Coast bajau).

Wikimedia Friendship

a Wikiproject organized by Wikimedians who are active in the Malaysian or other Wikimedia community, that aims to enrich Wikimedia contents about both community country and strengthen the collaboration between the two communities. Currently working on Wikimedia Japan-Malaysia Friendship (Q130528056), Wikimedia Greece-Malaysia Friendship (Q131450897), Wikimedia Korea-Malaysia Friendship and Wikimedia Estonia-Malaysia Friendship.

Malay Wikimedia

Malay Wikimedia project consists Malay Wikipedia (Wikipedia bahasa Melayu) which was established in October 2002 and became the first South-East Asian language to have its own Wikipedia project. It also have four other projects, Malay Wiktionary, Malay Wikibooks, Malay Wikisource and Malay Wikiquote.

Central Dusun Wikimedia project consists Central Dusun Wikipedia (Wikipedia Boros kadazandusun) which was established in 2024 and became the first Malaysian indigenous language from Sabah to have its own Wikipedia project.

Wikimedia Community User Group Malaysia is a Wikimedia user group and a registered organisation in Malaysia. We support the goals of the Wikimedia Foundation, including the work of volunteers on Wikimedia projects as well as numerous other free knowledge initiatives.
