Wikimedia Community User Group Tanzania/Annual Report 2016/2017
Introduction[edit]
The year 2016 was a Lucky year as Jack Rabah had a chance to meet Paul Mandele and Antoni Mtavangu. During their conversations that is where the Idea of starting Wikimedia Community User Group Tanzania emerged. Although there was other activities (eg Wiki Loves Africa Contest) taking place in Tanzania for at least two past years, this year is termed as the beginning of long term group of Wikimedia projects Volunteers. The key activities on this year are as shown below.
