I was vividly exposed to Wikimedia community starting from fellow Ugandans, Various interactions with wiki users and volunteers. I was able to learn more about Wikipedia, Wikimedia, the goals, vision and mission.Here I vividly appreciated the impact Wikipedia has towards various aspects in Africa ,and the entire globe. it was educative on the element of privacy of one's data information of Wikipedia and how it can be kept private. appreciation for the importance of community building and how to handle the challenges that come with it.


  • How did you connect with other people during Wikimania 2022? How did you celebrate at Wikimania 2022?

I was able to connect with other people through the in-person event that was held on 12th August 2022 in Kampala-Uganda at Capital Kitchen Restaurant and through Zoom where i was able to have a few face to face interactions with some of the Participants. I celebrated Wikimania 2022 through the in-person event , there were Fun Trivia games about Wikipedia and cake cutting.
