You don’t need to pay for a Wikipedia article

It has come to the notice of the Ghanaian community of Wikipedians that some members of the public are approaching some of our members to do paid editing while other individuals are writing Wikipedia articles for celebrities, politicians etc for fees.

Please note that paid editing is a form of the conflict of interest editing.

Also, no amount of payment can guarantee non-notable people or organisations would be covered or maintained on the wiki.

Also, payments will not guarantee that promotional language would be kept on the page, or negative facts kept out.
