Khoe/Saan Heritage Workshop.[edit]

Editing workshops can be run at the Camissa museum, this will be beneficial for community building. The museum can be part of GLAM. Michael to follow up with Andre about the Camissa museum venue. Link to be shared after.

2022/23 Grant Update[edit]

Douglas has been busy with the grant, which was submitted through plax. He applied for a 1-year grant, will speak to Veronica to apply for a multi-grant. Douglas will finish up the Grant on 23 March and submit it to Veronica. Grant will have a lot of metrics and projects expected to be run and executed. Seeking funding for various projects such as wiki loves monuments etc. Projects need to satisfy certain demographics. Money is available for people who want to run outreach programs, such as climate change and school programs.

Wikimedia ZA internship Programme[edit]

Recruiting for interns is still in progress, Going into the second round of interviews. It was suggested that the interns should be passionate about editing and translating in thier mother toungues so as to build African langauges wikis.
