SadilaR[edit]
- Is taking place on the 20th of September 2023 held at Unisa in Pretoria. Bobby and Jan will be there in-person Ingrid will be joining via online. A meeting should be held before the launch, to discuss expectations of the launch and roadshow.
- The event will be taking place at University of Mpumalanga, but it hasn't beet confirmed as yet.
- The programme is looking at a three day event to have a standardized training on Wikipedia for the Universities
- The budget is 200 000 rands and volunteers and trainers will be paid for their time.
- Douglas requested a training meeting before the launch to train members on the curriculum. Participants who will be attending the Sadilar launch have agreed to meet on the 19th to be trained by Douglas on the curriculum.
LIHASA=[edit]
- Annual LIHASA event will be taking place on the 11th of October 2023, a proposal sent by Ingrid, for Librarians to add content on Wikipedia about libraries, the proposal was approved and she will be leading an Edit-athon at the event.
- Ingrid will need volunteers if anyone is interested and available.
