DH-Ignite Update
sadilar has been hosting a D-Ignite conference in Limpopo. The aim of the event is to market the Swip project which geared beginning of this year.
Bobby has been attending the event for the past two days, where hi and other partners got yo present about the Swip project.
Bobby is positive about the event and the networks he managed to make, and looking forward to engaging and build partnerships.
SDILAr indicated that the Swip project will be expanded
Bobby to provide workshop dates or program manager to liaise with well in advance, 2 months if possible

WikiIndaba process and planning is going well. The budget was/has been approved without no objections.
Wikiindaba Committee members are based in different countries
Wikimedia Foundation, will be responsible of booking flights and accommodation.
Conference will take place in Gauteng Sandton, which will be at Radisson Blue
Scholarships are available for international Wikimedians. Committee TBA
There are local scholarships as well, which will be conducted by an African Committee.
10 people are anticipated to attend, which might be extend to 15, depending on the budget.
These are full scholarships, full scholarships will cover (Flights, Ground travel, accommodation, catering and registration.
Johannesburg attendees, unfortunately ground travel wont be covered for ground travel. (A partial scholarship can be awarded to Johannesburg participants.
volunteers are needed for the WikiIndaba conference. Members encouraged to let Bobby if they want to volunteer.
