One day Wikimedia education programme was held at PMSM Campus, Kuttasseri, Malappuram,India on 15th August2023. The session was conducted as part of India's 77th Indepedence day. The aim of the programme was introduce the cocept of open knowledge and Wikimedia to high school students.

Programme[edit]

he program was initiated with Mr. Abdulla Kunji presiding over it. Akbarali, a user, introduced the concept of Wikipedia and underscored the significance of preserving history and actively participating in the Wikipedia community.There was also a quiz competition, and the winning students received water bottles from the Wikimedia Foundation.
