Wikimedians of North India/Meetups/Jaswant Singh Kanwal meet Dhdhike-July 2019 is an event organised by Harvinder Chandigarh member of the User Group Wikimedians of North India .The event was conducted mainly to interact and take the images of prominent Punjabi language writer Jaswant Singh Kanwal who was bedridden due to age of over 100 years.
Objective[edit]
- To take images of prominent prominent Punjabi language writer Jaswant Singh Kanwal and upload on Commons.
- To create new content on Wikipedia.
- To enrich the existing content on Wikipedia by adding relevant images to it .
- To preserve the images of important literary personalities who are at the last stage of their life.
