Mapping of Natural Heritage - Ropar wetland - Feb 2020 is an event organised by Harvinder Chandigarh, the member of the User Group Wikimedians of North India. The event was conducted mainly to cover natural heritage of Ropar wetland situated at district headquarter of Rupnagar district of Punjab, India. The event was organised on 1st Feb 2020.
Objective[edit]
- To create new content on Wikipedia.
- To take images important water bodies and biodiversity there and preserve them by uploading on Commons.
- To enrich the existing content on Wikipedia by adding relevant images to it and other media to them.
- To create awareness about Wikipedia among writers and readers.
