Wikimedians of North India/Meetups/Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos- 2020is an event organised by Harvinder Chandigarh , the founder member of the User Group Wikimedians of North India to supplement the special campaign of Wikipedia movement namely Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos- 2020 [1] which is an annual event where Wikipedians of different languages and communities are expected to add photos to Wikipedia articles presently not having images.

Proposal and objectives

Objective of this event will be in spirit and tune of Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos- 2020

• To promote the WPWP Campaign to improve the quality of Wikipedia articles with quality photos by sharing this campaign on social media platforms especially on Facebook.
• uploading photographs on article which presently lack it .
• uploading better quality photographs pages presently have poor quality photographs.
• To strengthen the Wikipedia , the free knowledge movementb by involving armature photographers and new / old Wikipedians .
• To enrich the existing content on Wikipedia by adding relevant images to it .
• To create awareness about Wikipedia in the the local community.
