A total of 11 member participated along with 3 members from the Hindi Wikimedians User Group. For the first time in the West Bengal User Group meet 3 members of the Hindi Wikimedia Community were invited as guest participants. The meet had several sessions spanning a wide range of topics along with troubleshooting sessions and administrative discussions.

  • Wiki Loves Butterfly by Ananya Mondal: Anaya briefed the participants about her project Wiki Loves Butterfly which has been running since 2016. She also displayed photographs of butterflies explaining the process of identification. Photos of eggs, larva and puppa were also displayed. She mentioned about the future plans of her project.
  • Hindi Wiki Source by Khannaia Prasad Chaurasia, Rohit Shaw and Manisha Yadav: These three guest speakers from Hindi Wikimedians User Group have been working on Hindi Wiki Source. They spoke about their personal experience and their Hindi community in West Bengal. They mentioned about the Hindi Wiki Source workshop which was held in Kolkata.
  • Troubleshooting: For the first time in a West Bengal User Group Meet we had a troubleshooting session. Individuals and group of individuals had certain problem which were solved by fellow participants, who had expert knowledge in the field.
  1. Uploading photos of Non-listed monuments in Wiki Loves Monuments 2023 in India (Problem of Tarun Samanta solved by Rangan Datta): Rangan Datta uploaded photos of non-listed monuments for WLM. Tarun Samanta and few other participants learned the process.
  2. Nominating photos for Quality Image (Problem of Rangan Datta solved by Ananya Mondal): This was a hand on session Rangan Datta, under the guidance of Ananya Mondal. Khannaia Prasad Chaurasia and Rohit Shaw also nominated their respective photos.
  3. Process of Hard Ware Grant Application (Problem of Manisha Yadav solved by Ananya Mondal: This was solved on a one-to-one basis
  4. Machine translation of Wikipedia Article (Problem of Salil Kumar Mukherjee solved by Sujata Nettime: This was solved on a one-to-one basis
