Stilted Grammer[edit]

"Please also make sure you provide us with your username and the wikis which you have this capability." Shouldn't that be "and the wikis with which you have" or something like that? The second half of that sentence seems a little stilted. 208.127.148.195 22:21, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You can edit. :-) Cbrown1023 talk 23:19, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Non-English documents[edit]

Can official documents not in the English language and of a non-Latin alphabet be used for identification? Would Greek language/alphabet be readable? NSK Nikolaos S. Karastathis 11:36, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would hope so -- but I'll check. Cbrown1023 talk 15:15, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Absolutely. bastique demandez! 17:03, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmation of.......confirmation[edit]

We have a user who has supposedly confirmed their identity via this process. There is currently an admin vote taking place for this user here. Would it be possible for someone to drop by and note that the identity has been confirmed? Clearly the identity would not be divulged, but the fact that someone knows it would be beneficial for our community, I think. Many thanks. Atelaes 08:36, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment for the last anonymous editing[edit]

{{helpme}} I can't login as user User:Jaybear, although login for :de.- and :en.wikipedia.org is normally possible ... ;-(
Maybe this is caused by using only a Citrix-ICA-Client session?

User:Jaybear does not exist locally. I'd advice you to try to log directly on Special:UserLogin. Btw, this query has nothing to do with identification to the WMF :-) —Marco Aurelio (Nihil Prius Fide) 04:46, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
According to this there is an unattached local account. Visiting Special:Mergeaccount may help, but if you can't login with your normal password it is possible that you have a different password for the unattached account. You could try requesting a password reset if you have a verified email address for the meta account QU TalkQu 22:22, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
