2020 and 2021 so far have been full of remote calls and remote conferences. Remote meeting and looking at moving thumbnail-size faces can be taxing from a psychological point of view. How does a participant take their eyes off the screen and indulge in something that is still relevant to the conference?
This session, if the event platform allows, will be a well-curated playlist of inspiring films, music, interviews and more -- all trying to expose the nuances of linguistic diversity around the world. To make it more exciting, the conference participants are going to be the first ones to ever get access to this playlist. Not each single one in the playlist would be related to Wikimedia projects but some would be. As it would be a playlist the audience will have the liberty to move to a different "track" if they did not like a particular audio/video.
As many indigenous, endangered, low-resource and other marginalized communities strive every day to grow the open knowledge resources like Wikimedia projects in their own languages, they need more and more ways to find solidarity, hope and inspiration. This would be a long continuous stream to provide that much needed small mental.

Suggest to us to include music, films and edutainment (educational entertainment) content. The suggestions will be put into a playlist and will be played throughout the Artic Knot Conference 2021. Music/films/other audio-visual content that is already there on YouTube are preferred. The suggestion must be either in an indigenous (or other low-resource) languages or made by indigenous musicians and producers. Add a Wikidata/other Wikimedia link if possible to provide more information. See an example below. As we do not have the skills to evaluate the content, we will only assume "good faith" from fellow Wikimedians. So, please do not include link to any discriminatory (sexist, racist, socioeconomic and otherwise) content.
