Learning[edit]

What worked well? What didn't work so well? What would you do differently next time?

Feminism and Folklore 2023 in the Philippines on Bikol Wikipedia and Wiki Loves Folklore 2023 in the Philippines on Wikimedia Commons were local campaigns part of the larger international campaign for adding content on indigenous culture. In this year's campaign, the role of women in culture was given highlight. The activities were carried out with the participation and collaboration of Bikol Wikipedia Community, Commons Photographers User Group, PhilWiki Community and Pilipinas Panorama Community, and individuals who joined on the Wikimedia Commons. Thru the Facebook page dedicated in the promotion of Wiki Loves Folklore, the 2023 photography campaign was announced as early as February 1st while the call for participation in the editing campaign was announced on March 29th thru the Bikol Wikipedia Facebook page. These platforms were of great help in the promotion of Feminism and Folklore outside the Wikimedia projects.
