Discussion[edit]

Central Notice admin comments[edit]

@KCVelaga: There's no banner text. Can you please add the banner text, so we can process your request? If you want, feel free to provide more language versions of the banner. Best regards, --Martin Urbanec (talk) 20:00, 23 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Martin Urbanec: Added text, please tweak it if required. KCVelaga (talk) 09:36, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@KCVelaga: Thank you. Do you intend to display the banner in English on all the projects? If not, please give me local language versions, so I can import them to the CentralNotice interface. --Martin Urbanec (talk) 10:02, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Martin Urbanec: Where do we do that? Generally, we get to translate it after the banner is setup. KCVelaga (talk) 10:15, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@KCVelaga: Well, since I have to approve the translations, having them while setting up the banner is a little bit easier. But both ways are fine. I've created the banner, see preview. Translate it using the link from the banner and let me know. Best, --Martin Urbanec (talk) 10:23, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Martin Urbanec: Can we get a differentiation between the title and the caption, i.e. the first line the rest of the text, probably bold effect or something. Please provide the link for translating this. KCVelaga (talk) 11:29, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@KCVelaga: Well both lines was already bold. Now the second one should be un-bolded, please have a look. The link for translating is in the banner itself, as "Help with translations!". --Martin Urbanec (talk) 12:19, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Martin Urbanec: It looks good. I've asked community members of various languages to add translations. I'll ping you once all have been done, probably in day or two. KCVelaga (talk) 13:19, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Moving this to Approved/Work in progress now. --Martin Urbanec (talk) 15:21, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Martin Urbanec: We have the translations ready in fifteen languages. Please approve them. Also I would like to know the campaign feed. KCVelaga (talk) 14:43, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@KCVelaga: I've approved all 100% completed translations. What does your question mean? What would you like to know? Can you rephrase? Best, --Martin Urbanec (talk) 16:03, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Martin Urbanec: Sorry for the confusion. I mean campaign diet. How many, what are the dates that the banner will be displayed etc. KCVelaga (talk) 17:28, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I see, thanks. I'd like to consult MarcoAurelio on that. Do you think we can setup a notice on all projects KCVelaga listed, without a country-based targetting? Or do you think limiting only to listed countries would be better? Thanks! Best, --Martin Urbanec (talk) 17:34, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Martin Urbanec: Any update on this? We are half way through the campaign, but I would still like this being up. KCVelaga (talk) 06:16, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Done Thanks for reminding. Since I didn't get any message from Marco, I've created the campaign to run from now to March 31 at requested projects for all users from requested countries. Best, --Martin Urbanec (talk) 17:13, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Martin Urbanec: Thanks for your quick action. KCVelaga (talk) 17:43, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
