Central Notice Settings

What is the campaign duration?
  • 20th September 2019 → 30th September 2019
Which projects will you be targeting?
  • Not sure of what options combination is possible regarding project/language, help pages are a bit confusing. The banner should be displayed only in French (no translations) and we would like to target:
    • logged in users, restricted to those whose user interface language is set to French, from all projects, worldwide (no geolocation), and
    • logged in users, whatever their user interface language is, geolocalized to FR and french overseas territories, from Commons, Wikidata and all projects with project language prefix within [fr,ar,hyw,hy,als,eu,br,ca,co,ht,vls, frp, lad,lb,nrm,oc,pcd, rmy,ty,wa,yi] (all languages of France). Some projects don't have all the prefixes; if that helps, here are all the existing targeted projects: wikipedia(fr,ar,hyw,hy,als,eu,br,ca,co,ht,vls, frp, lad,lb,nrm,oc,pcd, rmy,ty,wa,yi), wiktionary(fr,ar,eu,br,ca,co,lb,oc,wa,yi), wikisource(fr,ar,eu,br,ca,ht,yi), wikinews(fr,ar,ca), wikiquote(fr,ar,eu,br,ca,co,lb), wikibooks(fr,ar,eu,ca,co,lb,oc,wa), wikiversity(fr,ar), wikivoyage(fr).
    • all logged-in users geolocated into France and French overseas territories, from all projects.

I'm sure this a pretty unusual request, so let me know the technical restrictions and/or if it's to time consuming for CentralNotice's admins to set such a campaign, in order to reshape it if needed.

What languages will you be targeting?
  • See above.
Do you wish to show banners to Logged In users, Anonymous Users or Both? Do you want to target users with a specific number of edits or average monthly?
  • Logged in users.

What countries will your campaign target?

  • See above.

Banner/Campaign Diet:

  • To be determined by Central Notice admin

What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?

I'll notify the main targeted projects (largest wikipedias, commons, wikidata and some others active projects) later this day. Willie Robert (talk) 09:39, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
