Community notification text[edit]

This is sample notification that can be used for mass message delivery to targeted WP's forums, as described @ Usage guidelines:

  • EN: The Stay at home with Wikipedia contest is launched on topics related to the COVID-19 pandemic and everything that it brings to our lives right now, will bring in the near future and, who knows, in the far future. The competition is not quite ordinary. We would like to see an act of social responsibility in its organization and, of course, in participating in it. However, everything is described in detail on the competition page, where I invite you now, colleagues. The competition will last from 1 to 2 months, depending on the circumstances. It is very important that this difficult topic be covered in Wikipedia correctly, reliably, without “stuffing” and distortion. Therefore, in addition to the jury evaluating the articles for compliance with the formal criteria of the project, we need experts as well. They may be specialists among Wikipediaeditors or professionals who are not Wikimedia activists. We are ready to consider proposals for cooperation and partnership in this project, and of course, we need maximum information support. Come to the page of the Competition and - stay home with Wikipedia. On behalf of Wikimedia RU and on my own behalf. 'Banner:' Colleagues, we proposed a competition banner through CentralNotice. We're asking for your support.
