What is the purpose of Campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?[edit]

Description - The Education Team at the Wikimedia Foundation will be running a survey from 15 September through 15 October to get input from a wide variety of stakeholders. We would like to get input from our general editor communities in a variety of languages. We are working with community members to provide the survey in 10 languages. We hope this will help the team prioritize resources for global programs support and may also give insight into possible new approaches.

We realize the survey begins during WLM, which is a high priority for Central Notice. We are happy to hear recommendations on the best approach, and we could even focus our survey outreach to the first few weeks of October if that makes more sense. We are new to Central Notice requests so please let us know how to best proceed.

Metrics - Unsure

What banner(s) will you use? What will be your landing page?[edit]

Banners - Do you think Wikipedia belongs in education? The Education Team at the Wikimedia Foundation wants your opinion! Take the survey.

Landing Page - Link to survey (Qualtrics), each language will have a unique link to help us track.

Central Notice Admin comments[edit]

TFlanagan-WMF, was it launched? Is it still needed? It is not listed on CentralNotice/Request… --Base (talk) 10:56, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the ping, Base! Sorry for my late reply, I was on vacation. We never got the banners up, but the survey is already closed. I thought I followed the instructions, but it seems I failed to list it on that page -- I probably assumed that happened automatically. Tighe Flanagan (WMF) (talk) 18:25, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see((( Yeah, no automation here at the moment nor any real pool of volunteers to work on requests timely :( Thansk for the update! P.S. I really wouldn't recommend editing discussions with VE it produced rather strange markup for the situation. --Base (talk) 18:45, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
