커닝햄의 법칙
커닝햄의 법칙(Cunningham's Law)은 "인터넷에서 올바른 답변을 얻는 가장 좋은 방법은 질문을 하는 것이 아니라 잘못된 답변을 게시하는 것입니다."라고 말합니다."
이 개념은 위키 소프트웨어의 발명자인 워드 커닝햄의 이름을 따서 명명되었습니다. 이 법의 저자인 스티븐 맥기디,[1]에 따르면 위키백과는 이 법의 가장 잘 알려진 증거일 것입니다.[2]
커닝햄의 법칙은 인터넷에서 프랑스어로 "prêcher le faux pour savoir le vrai"("진실을 알기 위해 거짓을 전파하라")와 같은 것으로 간주될 수 있습니다. 셜록 홈즈는 때때로 이 원칙을 사용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다(예를 들어, "네 개의 서명 (The Sign of the Four)".[3]). 중국 관용구 拋磚引玉 "벽돌을 던져 옥을 끌어들인다"는 비슷한 개념을 표현하고 있지만, 이 관용구는 불완전하거나 품질이 낮은 것을 제안하는 것을 의미할 수 있지만 반드시 거짓이거나 잘못된 것은 아닙니다.

Cunningham's Law: The best way to get the right answer on the Internet is not to ask a question, it's to post the wrong answer. N.b. named after Ward Cunningham, a colleague of mine at Tektronix. This was his advice to me in the early 1980s with reference to what was later dubbed USENET, but since generalized to the Web and the Internet as a whole. Ward is now famous as the inventor of the Wiki. Ironically, Wikipedia is now perhaps the most widely-known proof of Cunningham's Law.
