• 13-04-2024: The upcoming DCW Progress Prism is scheduled for 15 April 2024, 9:00 PM IST.
• 22-02-2024: We have moved our website at dcwwiki.org to MediaWiki and the site is currently under maintenance. The sub-website for DCW Conversation Hour will also be merged for convenience. We don't have plans to maintain a separate site for the Conversation Hour anymore.
• 17-03-2024: The 15th DCW Conversation Hour is scheduled on 24 March 2024 at 08:30 PM IST. The conversation features Amal Ramadan, a Senior Community Relation Specialist at the Wikimedia Foundation.
• 01-03-2024: Applications are invited for our Heritage Lens Fellowship. Last date to apply is 7 March 2024.
• 22-01-2024: The 14th DCW Conversation Hour is scheduled on 18 February 2024 at 6:00 PM IST. The conversation features Butch Bustria, the event lead of Wikimania Singapore.
• 16-01-2024: A rapid grant request has been submitted to the Wikimedia Foundation for supporting our activities from April to September 2024. Endorsement and feedback is requested from the community.
• 15-01-2024: 2023 annual activity report has been submitted on the Wikimedia Affiliates Data Portal in accordance with our agreement with the Wikimedia Foundation.
• 08-01-2024: First edition of Wiki Loves Muslim Academia is running between January 15 and February 16, 2024.
• 22-01-2024: The 13th DCW Conversation Hour is scheduled on 25 January 2024 at 6:00 PM IST. The conversation focuses on Organizer Lab, and features Alex Stinson, a Lead Program Strategist at the Wikimedia Foundation.

• 21-12-2023: An offline workshop and edit-a-thon, Wikiquote Insights is scheduled for 28th December in New Delhi. Registration is open until 23:59, 27th December, IST.
• 09-12-2023: The 12th DCW Conversation Hour is scheduled on 16 December 2023, focusing on affiliate and community relationships in Wikimedia ecosystem. The speaker is Tanveer Hasan from the Centre for Internet and Society.
• 09-12-2023: The second iteration of the Heritage Lens is happening between 10 and 14 December 2023, targeting South Kashmir.

• 08-10-2022: DCW is looking forward to changing its current logo with such a logo that describes its connection with both the global Deobandi scholarship and free knowledge movement. The winning logo designer would be awarded an e-certificate.
• 30-09-2022: Donia Al Domiaty had a one-hour long online interaction with DCW's female volunteers. The meet was hosted by Browniewikipedian at 9:30 PM on Google Meet app.
• 29-09-2022: The Bhopal Photo Event is scheduled to happen from 15 to 20 October 2022.
• 01-09-2022: DCW received a rapid grant of 980 USD to conduct the Bhopal Photo Event.

• 01-07-2022: The first drive of the Deoband Yoruba Collaborative Project was conducted throughout the month of July.
