  • Summary of the session:

Wikipedia in African Libraries Course was run by AFLIA with sponsorship from Wikipedia foundation. The course run for four months from July - October 2021. The session shall encourage Librarians on the importance of joining wikipedia in African Libraries Course to gain more knowledge and Wonderful experience that will enable them perform their duties deligently.

  • Outcome of the session:

At the end of the presentation Librarians should be able to

  • Understand the importance of wikipedia in African Libraries Course
  • Librarians to contribute to the body of knowledge by creating, editing and evaluating articles on Wikipedia
  • Acquired skills of writing proposal and performing there duties outside the library such as outreach services or digital literacy
  • Language:
