FindingGLAMs/Minor grants/Formation Wikidata en Guinée

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki
Summary

Our User Group discovers wikidata a can and we have planned two (2) days for better exchanges.

Wikimedia Guinea (UG) would like to introduce Wikidata to wikimedians, students, teachers and librarians from Conakry and Kamsar (Guinea) as a structural change to the collection and safeguarding of free Wikipedia-related data, which will bring efficiency to the data management in the profession.

It will be the first of its kind in Guinea and could be duplicated.

After the French-speaking Wikiconvention in Brussels, the desire to multiply wikidata actions is great for us.

Expected results, with SMART goals
  1. Introduction of Wikidata to wikimedians, students, teachers and librarians of two cities Conakry and Kamsar so that the data can be presented in a structural form being the most concerned by its data.
  2. Help to translate, improve and validate the data of articles created in languages other than French related to Guinea.
  3. Creates an attraction for Wikidata being the umbilical cords of other sister projects.
  4. Diversify the activities of the Wikimedia community in Guinea.

Discussion

@Aboubacarkhoraa: is it possible to have this application translated into English, or preferably get an English-speaking contact person involved? Unfortunately we will not be able to conduct the necessary communication throughout the process in French. --Alicia Fagerving (WMSE) (talk) 08:19, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you @Alicia Fagerving (WMSE):, I used Google translate so please adapt the words with their concepts so that we can understand each other. Delighted with your response.Aboubacarkhoraa (talk) 08:54, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
