We have developed a robust set of programs, approaches, and strategies for 2024 aimed at advancing education and knowledge-sharing within the community. The programs include initiatives such as promoting content creation in local languages, conducting diverse events, targeted outreach to specific communities and institutions, and fostering collaborative partnerships. We also want to emphasize recognition and rewards for contributors, mentorship, and community building.

The challenges SKAP seeks to address are diverse and include the need for increased access to education, preservation of cultural heritage, promotion of media literacy and news credibility, and the digitization of local laws and ordinances for transparency and accessibility. The strategies support these objectives by tailoring events to the specific needs of communities and institutions, fostering partnerships to enrich educational initiatives, and empowering contributors through mentorship and recognition. We are also committed to continuous improvement through feedback and structured evaluation, ensuring that our efforts align with our mission and the evolving needs of our community. Ultimately, our multifaceted approach is designed to tackle these challenges comprehensively and make meaningful contributions to education and knowledge-sharing in the region.

The Digitization of Local Laws and Ordinances Project is on its phase 2. The first one being funded by a rapid grant. It aims to build a repository of municipal laws in the Philippines to benefit the citizens, law enforcement, judiciary, legislature, academe, including tourists and visitors whether domestic or foreign to know about local laws about health, environment, public safety, public policy and other customs in the places they wish to visit. Concurrently, we have uploaded in Wikisource 800+ local laws from 32 towns and 2 states or provinces. We also uploaded 2500+ images in WikiCommons pertaining to said laws. We wish to scale the project to cover more states in the three major island of the Philippines namely Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. So we need the funds to help us realize this and hopefully use this template in other countries in Asia and other parts of the globe.
