2024年維基媒體亞洲月用戶組基於以下兩項理由，擬定我們的年度戰略目標： 1.亞洲月需要多元化並穩定的發展：整體維基媒體運動越來越著重多元性的發展，也包括各地域知識的收錄。亞洲月是維基運動裡歷史悠久、並在運動中受到重視的亞洲主題賽事。此賽事的永續經營，有助於維基媒體運動參與者更佳了解亞洲文化和其重要性，也能透過維基的影響力，使更多人了解亞洲的自然與人文，進而有助於多元化的目標。今年我們已經申請在台灣人民團體法人化，這個年度計畫可以幫助我們發展穩定的財政支援、工作團隊、以及工作空間。

2.亞洲月用戶組及參與社群需要重振：自2019年後，亞洲月的參與人數、整體貢獻條目數量等數據，與先前相比均出現下降的趨勢。雖然一部分原因可能是疫情所致，但固有模式也需要加以迭代(Iteration)，以重新喚起社群參與的熱情。

綜合上述理由，我們的2024年戰略共有三項：

1.持續穩定舉辦賽事：雇用亞洲月用戶組專員，使賽事籌備執行能趨於穩定與順利，加強對亞洲內部與非亞洲的宣傳與鼓勵線下活動，推動賽事優化呼應當前維基媒體運動與亞洲月多元化穩定發展的需求。

2.加深亞洲社群連結、增進多元化合作：拓展多元亞洲社群合作可以促進不同社群互相協助參與賽事、舉辦活動的情況，除了提供人力與技術，也為賽事相關活動策劃執行納入多元觀點。籌組國際委員使不同背景和地區的代表加入賽事形式的發想和決策，使賽事亞洲議題更豐富、國際化、增加多元性，有助於亞洲月社群參與度的重振。

3.提升數位平台治理：數位平台治理包括透過活化宣傳管道社群媒體提升亞洲月的關注度。也包含優化賽事統計工具Fountain Tool，以更易於維護、反應更為即時、操作更便利且更符合現今的亞洲月賽事需求為優化目標，促進活動組織者參與亞洲月活動的意願，有助於更多元化的參與以及重振社群熱情。

[Operation Team] 營運與行政將新雇用一名全職員工，支薪，在WMTW團隊的引導之下，學習和執行、監督本計畫所有工作項目。

[Fountain Tool Contractor] 所有與Fountain Tool有關的部分，將委託外部合作者，在完成任務的情況之下支應委託專案費用。

[Campaign Organizor Volunteers] 亞洲月各語言的賽事，則是由各語言自主舉辦，由不同語言的社群決定由誰擔任主辦者。

[Supporting Team] 維基媒體台灣、2022-2023年亞洲月賽事組織國際團隊、Fountain Tool維運志工，包含以下用戶：Reke, Joycewikiwiki, NHC, 此些成員的薪資由WMTW支應，但將在今年度計畫中擔任重要的經驗傳承與交接的角色。
