1. Due to the partial funding we have in our budget, we make an arrangements and adjustments from the initial plan we have at the grant proposals.

Almost half of the budget were cut, while funding the project this makes necessary adjustment possible.

Still nevertheless we work hand in hand with let's connect working group in other to make sure we have a successful grant experience. The grant was able to provide support to 12 editors in hausa community, through out the project time.

And with the encouragement of the let's connect working group we were able to hold an in-person event even with the limited resources we have.

We organized 4 learning clinics, 3 online and 1 In-person events. The topics covered are; 1. Creating local universal code of conduct (UCOC). 2. How to manage a small affiliate. 3. Development of leadership and communication skills. 4.The Roles of facilitators in organizing events.

We were able to carry out all of these sessions and all the participants attended the online and the in-person events.

Furthermore both the two (2) approaches worked to us, online sessions and also the In-person event.

You can recall these learning questions below: 1. what is the level of interest participants have in lets connect program? 2. do they think that its safe and inclusive learning environment? 3. are the opportunities the program offers and the process clear for participants? 4. are participants learning and sharing skills that can be applied to their wikimedians activities? 5. are we building collective capacities that can further support Wikimedian communities in our context? 6. most importantly are the support offered throuh this funding helping to reduce barriersto participate in spaces? 7. are the learning method adequate for participants needs and interest?

1. The participants show maximum interest in let's connect program this is clear by attending the other sessions organised by the let's connect working group by our participants. 2. Yeah, this is because it's generally known that let's connect is a space that you are welcome to make mistakes, we are all here to learn and no one is superior. We thought this helps in making the space safe. 3. Yeah the program offer opportunities like the support, materials and also being in the same space with experience Wikimedians. 4. Yes participants learn a lot looking at the topics focused on and how well it's being discussed. 5. Yeah, phase 2 of let's connect is about community building and that's what we worked on building at the project. Looking at our topics. It's matters that affect the entire community. 6. Yes there were data support for online sessions, There were transportation, data, and even refreshment for the in-person events. This supported the participants in attending all the sessions. 7. Yes. From the materials and the process of the presentations and the experience of the presenters at the sessions. The leaders of Hausa Wikimedians and the Admins of Hausa Wikipedia.

5. Did anything unexpected or surprising happen when implementing your activities? This can include both positive and negative situations. What did you learn from those experiences? (required)

Well, yes we think what really happens is the emphasis from the let's connect working team to have an in-person event, as we did not plan throughout for it.

This takes us, a lot of time to readjust and be able to come with the plan to host it. This is due to so many challenging factors at that particular time. Eg the partial funding and also the state of the economy od Nigeria at that particular time.

6. What is your plan to share your project learnings and results with other community members? If you have already done it, describe how. (required)

We already share with the group and the community via WhatsApp, we are also planning to share it on wiki with the rest of the movement.
