The proposals seeks to provide financial support and logistic support for 15 number of Hausa community who are community leaders and organizers that need to upskill their leadership and organizational skills in other to work with the community at the utmost best with experience and skills their have and with the one they will get from the program since its peer to peer learning from the most experience people in the entire community. and also share and learn from the Lets Connect Learning Program.

Lets connect is a peer learning program that create an open and safe learning space for any Wikimedian more especially now organizers, facilitators and leaders in the community looking that this phase two of lets connect is community driven. to share and learn different skills. Organizational issues and access to funds, programe tactics, interpersonal skills, skills related to Wikimedia project.

we hope that by participating to lets connect, we will be contributing to Movement Strategy around sharing knowledge, building skills, people-centeredness and solidarity. we hope to promote a learning culture and environment that is adaptable to our context and regional dynamics and fits into our communities availability, workload, needs, and contextual diversity. By participating we also hope to make visible capacities in communities that are sometimes not visible.

with this proposals we hope to support participants so that they can participate in Lets Connect learning spaces, by covering some logistics costs and to participate that may act as barriers. These include aspect such as connectivity, access to computers or phones, transportation, refreshment and the time to dedicate to this. Beyond this, its also seek to provide peer support so that participants fell confidence and safety to learn and share in diverse space.

1. one in person event; this will be meant to bring the participants together and it will serve as a space where an awareness will be done for the general community.

2. organized 2 learning clinics sessions; this will be on the main issues that bordered the entire hausa community relating to leadership, organization, coordination and local CoC creation and awareness.
3. support participants; these serve as means to support participants with logistic and gain access to learning clinics, organized by the lets connect team within the grant life circle. each participants is expected to attend 1 event each months, for 4 months of the grant life circle, making it 4 sessions per participants. and the reason we are making and relaying on the sessions organized by the lets connect team is because most of the sessions organized by lets connect team are community driven and they matched the skills needed in our community also they are rich in materials and from experienced wikimedians.
4. we are also going to review, watch and analysis 4 sessions from lets connects organized sessions. this is because the topics covered are community driven, and they really mattered in upskilling and educating leaders, organizers and facilitators our community.

these topics are;

1. Communication crisis prevention and management.
2. Motivation and retaining volunteers.
3. Small affiliate management
4. Experience and strategies for facing a team crisis.

these are topics to be watched, analyze and exercise on.

5. we are also planning to organized 3 learning clinics using the participants skills directory on what they want to learn and what they want to share.

they are all volunteers and also they are all part of Hausa Wikimedians User group and Nigerian Commons Photographers Group.

The participants generally are all from Hausa Community, we will engaged the participants by the use of Whatsapp group we already have, which is part of effective and easiest means of communication here.
